There Is One: A Repersentative Who Cares About Veterans

The Weed for Warriors would like to give a huge shout-out to U.S. Representative Earl Blumenauer (OR-03) for writing an open letter to U.S. Senator Mark Kirk (R-IL) regarding our pet project, cannabis for war trauma of many types.

See, certain members of both the Senate and the House in the face of a veteran suicide and overdose epidemic must find veterans lives expendable for the benefit of donors associated with big prohibition.  You know them, big pharma, the judicial system, a private prison system, unions, wine & spirits and so much more.  You don’t spend tens of billions fighting cannabis without creating prohibition’s version of welfare queens and we call them prohibition whores.  You know them, the type who just makes shit up to scare ma and pa middle America who already have been railroaded for their whole life with lies and much of them associated with those four letters, race, which scares much of America to death!

Senator Mark Kirk (R-IL) is just one of those prohibition whores, a special one at that.  See, Mr. Kirk sits on the committee who stripped the language from a bill that passed both the House and the Senate allowing VA Doctors to discuss and write a recommendation for Cannabis in States where such is legal.  This rarely used move shocked the Country, but not Veterans, see we are use to getting it in the rear, we call it the Green Weenie and it continues to hurt because they never give us lube.  Of Course, Senator Mark Kirk couldn’t just leave it at that, he had to open his mouth where he uttered the following, “I don’t think we have too few high veterans out there.”

We encourage everyone to reach out to Representative Mark Kirk (R-IL) and let him know your thoughts.  Contact Rep Mark Kirk (R-IL) but read Representative Earl Blumenauer’s (D-OR) letter right here first!  US Rep Blumenauer’s Letter To Rep Kirk – Sean Kiernan
