The League of Cities on this subject is nothing more than a triad of Prohibitionist (Police & their unions) now on the payroll and partnered with a small group of for profit cannabis businesses owners (Brick & Mortar Dispensaries) who have aligned with one of the biggest unions in California who seeks to increase its rolls in this new industry. The BCC deserves a lot of credit for standing up against the rich and connected bullies trying to profit off the lives of so many and they won't stop. What Adrienne Sprenger is alluding to is their coming lawsuit. The message below was sent to me a short while after the event by fellow Veteran @tamauedge. It really shows why we do what we do. One love to every person that donated!! -----I just want to thank each and every one of you for today. With your actions, you helped a Veteran hope again. It could have been a brief conversation, simple gesture, a kind listening ear, a card, a warm reception, a hug, or an ongoing appointment... Combined together, all of you alleviated the darkness with light. Ultimately, you helped save a life today. The wounds of this particular individual stem much further than his military service. Wounds that have never been tended to. His life has been full of trauma, and strife which led him into homelessness, weariness, and hopelessness. When he first came in, he had a look on him that I knew instantly. I've known it many times in my life, within my own self and others I love. That broken, far away look that has the potential, with the wrong trigger, to end a life. Then I watched as he met each one of you. I witnessed the light come back into his eyes. I saw hope in his step. I saw him get wrapped up in love. I saw a smile. I saw him determined to fight for another day, and make future plans. Days like these are why we all do what we do. Remember this day. Today you each played a part in helping a broken veteran commit to life again.
